Transform yourself from the peaceful surroundings of Clear Lake into the past when Bogie and his leading ladies ruled the silver screen. Step into Casablanca and stroll by the upright piano in Rick's Cafe Americain, awash in the glow of the red neon sign. Over on the corner you might spot Bogie's hat and coat on the antique coat rack. But they didn't have it this good - there's a Jacuzzi tub in the caboose and peach-tinted mirrors sandblasted with palm trees. Feeling musical? The sheet music from the movie is on the piano across from the bar, so you can "play it again, Sam." Or, maybe just a restful sleep in the featherbed after a sampling of the local wines from the over 30 wineries in the area. If you've forgotten a story detail, you can even watch Casablanca on your in-room video system. Whatever your passion, Here's Looking at You, Kid.

London Calling got it's name from the old English phone booth that is parked outside the caboose. It feels a little bit industrial with some of the original train gages still inside. There are reading lights over the bed and unique floral lights flanking the bay window. We sourced a beautiful antique armoire from our friends at Studio Antiques. There are now two cozy wingback chairs for reading. There's also a flat screen TV with both DVD and VHS player for your viewing pleasure. Once it's time to really relax, fill up the Jacuzzi tub for a comfortable soak. Of course there is the fabulous featherbed as well. This caboose is unique in having a dining nook with a table. While some might come here to work (for shame!) it's a great place to play one of the many games we have in our collection. This Caboose also has a low profile pull out bed for an additional adult or child.

If you enjoy riding your Harley Davidson Motorcycle through the beautiful mountain roads and along the shoreline of Clear Lake, then you will definitely enjoy a stay in Easy Rider. Relax in the "Easy Glider" chair complete with saddle bags while you enjoy the Harley touches in this unique caboose. From the orange, black and chrome colors to the custom made headboard with handlebars and the original etched mirror behind the Jacuzzi tub for two, this is definitely a unique and romantic experience. Climb up to the Cupola for a glass of wine and you'll notice our quarter-scale motorcycle replica displayed in its own black-and-white tiled showroom. But you don't have to be a motorcycle enthusiast to enjoy this suite. WIth its beautiful marbled floors and the smoked mirrors above the bed, this is a romantic retreat for anyone.

If you've ever enjoyed jazz or a great speakeasy, perhaps a roaring time in La Loose Caboose might be just the thing for you. Once inside, there is a burgundy Jacuzzi tub for two and a bar where you can see beautiful Clear Lake, perhaps catching a glimpse the Green Light of Daisy's Dock. The queen-size bed sits under a mirrored ceiling, with Great Gatsby style. Marbled floors and golden crown molding round out the appearance of a 1920s Speakeasy. The theme of the Great Gatsby, brings to life a golden age. The second-story cupola is the perfect place to watch the sun rise or set if you don't feel like leaving the room and enjoying the private deck overlooking the Lake.

There are so many gold medal winning wineries in the area, you might think of France. Midnight in Paris is an homage to that city with a table for two with a grand bicyclette as its base across from a Chaise Longue (Lounge) for stretching out after a long day in this land of adventure under a crystal chandelier. The brand new mattress is surrounded at the top by high posts and windows on either side to let in the light and flanked by a fer forgé mirror. Of course there's a beautiful Jacuzzi tub for two in its own separate room surrounded by carrara marble tile.

If you've ever longed for the detective side of a stay, murder mystery inquires or just an amazing lake view, on the famed Orient Express, our Mystery on the Orient Express themed caboose is for you. The beautiful art deco mirror behind the Jacuzzi tub for two is the focus of this elegant room. Black, teal and gold are the colors that complete this room and transport you in time to a historical train ride, with stories of passengers traced along the way. A private deck with views of Clear Lake and Mount Konocti in the distance enrich the train journey to relaxation. The second-story cupola is the perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset over Clear Lake. Stepping into the TropiCaboose is like walking into a resort along the shores of the ocean in a place like Key West or Hawaii. The entire room is light and airy with inviting wicker furniture, beautiful hardwood floors and a light, coconut color scheme that really puts you in the mood to enjoy a margarita. Instead of shoes, you might find yourself donning flip flops and thinking about the trade winds lightly blowing across Clear Lake. If you weren't so relaxed already, you might want to stroll outside and walk down the dock to feel the warm winds against your skin. Look up and we've caught a beautiful hand-made Maherajah water ski that's been trapped with some shells in a fishing net. There are margarita glasses waiting for some lime, grenadine and tequila. The bed spread is a beautiful Dean Miller piece and there is even a Tiki button! You'll just have to stay with us to find out what that does. Is that Margaritaville playing in the background? Have you stepped into a tropical paradise, or are you just in the TropiCaboose? It's up to your imagination.

As you step into the Wild Wild West Caboose you are transported back in time to when the Clear Lake area had prospectors and cowboys roaming the expansive hills and enjoying the beautiful crystal clear waters. Decorated with handsome antiques, the Wild Wild West has a varnished wood ceiling and your own private bar that you can stock with your own beverages - whether that be something from one of nearly 30 wineries in the area or your own rotgut, pardner! The Wild West West even has some antiques in the privvie including a genuine clawfoot bathtub and a pull-chain toilet.

With almost 30 super premium wineries just a short drive away, it only makes sense that one of our Caboose Rooms is a tribute to these local vintners. Above your Jacuzzi tub is a beautiful mural of the wine country to help you relax. The grape vine furniture has been lovingly crafted by hand and stenciled clusters of grapes adorn the walls. The table, crafted by Wine Country Woods, started life as a wine barrel. Your seat covers, too, are former wine barrel lids. Bring along your favorite bottle of wine and you can enjoy it while luxuriating in the two-person Jacuzzi tub. With oak floors and a mini wine press up in the Cupola, this is a terrific place to celebrate a trip to the wine country in style.
