Our December Artist of the Month is Nice resident Toni Stewart. Toni is unique in her passion for creating some wonderful hats.
She started by drawing and designing hats that fit her mood and has expanded to where she gets custom hat orders from people all over.
"Nothing thrills me more than to see the many smiles at a garden part or having tea with friends while wearing a unique design that I made just for you," says Toni. "I am so appreciative of all of those who love the unique art of millinery."
We are holding an artists' reception featuring Toni Stewart and a nice selection of her beautiful and unique hats on Sunday November 25 from 2-5pm. Think of what a great holiday gift a unique hat would be for someone!
Toni is also passionate about the Lakeport Women's Civic Club so we're holding a fund raiser for them by offering wine tasting with Thorn Hill wines paired with some terrific home-made desserts for just $25. Proceeds will benefit Toni's charity.
The reception is free to attend for those who don't want to partake in the wine and dessert fund raiser.
